Outstanding students who have completed the "regents approved curriculum" and who are enrolled at state colleges or universities qualify to receive up to $1000 per academic year. Needy applicants from the top 20-40% of their high school classes are invited to apply.Amount of funding. LPN students are eligible for $3,500 each school year. RN students are eligible for $4,500 each school year. Sponsors pay from $1,000 to one-half of the scholarship, and the State of Kansas pays the remaining amount.
